its been years since i sold mine so i was woundering is there a difference in back contour feel between the ernieball peavey and fender / and warmoth has a clone of it. is fender or peavey close to this amazing neck that they used to make. any info would cool just to see if those other companies are cloning my old fav neck. cuzz the fender and peavy bodies look like blobs/

They are different. Different specs. Different feel.

Get yourself an EBMM Axis...same as your old favorite.

The EVH neck was a wee bit narrower than the Axis neck. About 1/16 of an inch narrower if I recall. I do not have large hands; the EVH neck was (for me) the most comfortable neck ever. The current Axis and Luke necks are a close second.

They really feel the same to me.

Maybe a slight difference...but I only feel that difference from around the 12th fret & up...and only realize it if I'm consciously thinking about it.

I have very large hands and I have no issues playing on my EBMM EVH. If you ask me, the whole guitar was special. It is simply the best playing and best sounding guitar I have ever owned. I've played the other versions of his guitar and none of them feel the same as the original EBMM to me.
