Hey folks,

Been a while since I've posted actually & alot seems to have changed around here including myself! I have a very simple query that I could most definitely 'google', but you guys are The Knowledge Collective.

Ok

Where is the best Bongo stockist in Vegas? Surely this gaff is loaded with them :)

Unfortunately, my only contribution is to let those unfamiliar with UK terminoligy know that, in this case, "gaff" = "city".

Oh (by the way), I've heard that, aside from Caesars Palace, it's advisable to avoid anything Roman....

Ah sorry...

Gaff = city

I'm not looking to order, & it doesn't necessarily have to be Bongo, but I'm hoping for...

Find a nice bass shop,
Play a nice bass in said shop,
Fall in love with bass,
Sp*nk it on my credit card,
Enjoy euphoria,
Pay consequences later.

I bought a 25th 4HH in the Vegas Guitar Center. They where pretty well stocked with EBMM's, both Guitar and Bass. The Bass sales rep was very helpful.

One thing to note, Las Vegas has a very dry climate and the GC's are are conditioned. This can dry the necks out a bit. If you play a bass that you really like and it has slight "fret sprout" dont worry about it. As soon as it is in normal humidity for a couple of weeks it returns to normal. My 25th had a little fret spout but after about 2 weeks it was back to normal.

Go to the CIRQUE DU SOLEIL O show while you are there. The all time best of the 1000s of shows I have seen. Blew me away. :p
