I did one stint in the Air Force. Got stationed in Northern Maine and shoveled snow. I was lucky enough to serve in peace time. My thanks to those did more than shovel snow.

And Remembrance Day in Canada too. Thanks to all of those who sacrificed (and continue to sacrifice) so we can live the way we do. Remember, you don't have to agree with a war to support the troops and those who fight on behalf of your country.

Was stationed on Yankee Station on a carrier for a while, least I wasn't in country! I am so glad to see the level of support that our troops get now compared to when I got home!! God bless and watch over the troops!!!!!!

(minor hijack)

Loring, I assume?

I got married in Presque Isle, just down the road. My wife's from there. When people ask I just say "farther north than you can possibly imagine" and "to get there you go all the way to the end of I-95 and then keep going another 50 miles" (which is true).

Way out in willywags, that place is.

Here endeth the hijack. Oh… Hi, Jack!

Yes, Loring. Small world!!! Back when there were three B-52s warmed up and ready to go, at least until it got to -60ºF.
