I found this clip on YouTube:
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xjE1vznGKU]YouTube - Lasse Wellander - In the hall of the mountain king[/ame]

He is one of Sweden's best and most experienced studio guitarist, mostly renowned for his work with ABBA, Chess (the musical) and whatnot...

An excellent looking guitar! I bet it plays just as well.

What are the main differences between an old Silo HSS and the current Silo Special-models?

It looks like one of the early Silhouette Specials that was just labeled as a Silhouette. The bridge is a Wilkinson bridge. The pickups? Not sure. I think they were Schaller. The tuners, I believe, were locking Grover tuners. I believe those are the only differences between those guitars and the current Silo Spec.

While admittedly off topic, that tune was very Trans Siberian Orchestra sounding...pretty cool.

I took the family to see TSO last weekend. My kids really loved it, it was a lot of fun. (BTW, I think the bass player played a Stingray).
