So some of you asked for a sample of me playing, well here it is. This was easier than I thought. I recorded it using my digital camera. Uploaded it to you tube .com and there it is.

Thanks for letting me share.
Thanks for your comments

Norm, I got to watch a little bit and it's awesome man. I wished I could play 100th as well. I'll check the whole thing out tonight. :D

NorM,

I see two cables hanging from your Silo, and it sounds as if though you're running the piezo and the mags together.
What are you using for the piezo (amp wise). Just a PA??

Good question. I meant to say something about this earlier.
I am running the mags and the piezo full up at the same time. The piezo is going straight to the same PA that is running the backing track. As reported earlier, there is noise (hum) when you run a high gain amp and the piezo at the same time. So I finally opened the package from Musician's Friend that had my DI box in it.
1/4" to the DI Box
XLR from the DI box to the mixer
Turn the ground to the OFF position.

That cancelled about 80% of the noise.

Awesome! Thanks.
Some good playing!
So where can I buy the DVD? ;)

Sweet, NorM - really sweet!

You guys should hear him play Moonlight Sonata (his "Skyll Crushing Mix"!) ;)

Are you using the bridge pickup?

Watch carefully. The only one I don't use is position 4 (Neck split and single coil)

Most of it is on the bridge and the piezo is full open. Listen for the clean chime on notes that are picked. It (the piezo) doesn't come through very strongly on hammered on notes.

Agree.

I got dial up so it's hard for me to comment, but I'm sure it's inventive, full of cool little tricks and nice note selection.

I've seen norm live 4 times now I think. And Petrucci only twice.
