That's it I remember you telling me this - a "real" Fender ? ;)

No, not a real Fender. He sent me a Tradition Jerry Reid signature with Parsons/White b-bender.

I never heard of this brand but let me tell you it is every bit as good as any Fender i ever played. and this thing is only like $250 orso.

Now you made me really enthousiastic:p , you know i like to mod guitars and what i did with that Tradition is i took out the b-bender unit to install it in my old Squier Tele that was already modded all the way.
It was a scary mod because i never used a router and i desided to not use a mal.

That guitar, as you can see was already butchered but it turned out ok and the bender works fantastic.

Other mods i did to that guitar are conversion to stringthrough, brass saddles, schaller tuners, cut a new pickguard so i could wire it like an Esquire, bone nut (i took the bone material from the thing a deer has on his head. Now, i realize this sounds really really stupid but i don't know the name:confused: :(

It's this guitar(ok to post?) Actually good to see because it shows the principle of a bender.

Right! thank you for that info, never heard of that word.

My brother found this antler in the field where he was working for a seismographic company.

I just cut a piece out and made a nut from it. Sanding this stuff smells terrible:eek: but it works great.

It was just a little experiment, a piece of bone blank is not expensive but i was curious if it would work.

To be honest i think the kind of material is not so important, it's how it is cut that matters. A bone nut that is cut not very good will suck.
