Does anyone know why Vinnie Moore doesn't have his own signature series with EBMM. I mean he seems to be promoting MM's by playing them and wearing tee-shirts...heck if Benji gets a sig why not Vinnie?

That's a damned good question... I always presumed that he was just so happy with his Sil. Spec. and his Axis that he never felt like he needed them to mod them special for him, so he never got a Sig. guitar.... BUT would that make a great LIMITED EDITION? A Vinnie Moore Signature Axis, signed and numbered on the back of the headstock by Vinnie? Woah!

While that would be cool to think about, I'm glad they haven't and hope they wont.... that's a step toward being in it more for money and less attention to detail on their guitars and customer service... I would really not like that at all.

Either that or they wouldn't make them fast enough for vinnie... oh wait, that wasn't vinnie now was it......

Greetings Jimi D~ I believe VM's Sils are pretty heavily modded. I'm not sure about his Axis though. :)

Hmmm, can I post my Axis Vinnie Moore Ebay auction here? Or should I keep it "hush hush"? I don't want to step on any toes being a newbie here and all...

Moderators? Advice please...

And thanks for the Canadian welcome! wink wink :D

hey, I saw that auction... it's on my watching list... very nice Axis, BTW...

Personally, I'd want to remove the sig from it if I were to purchase it... the quilt/flame(first one I've seen that looks like both) is just purty!!

And I must commend you on the starting price!! Most people would Jack up the price beyond an reason just because of the signature!

But your price is more then reasonable, especially considering the conditions it's in!

Short answer is Yes, you can post EBMM guitars for sale here - it's all covered in the Forum Rules Thread

Man this is truly an honor, just to have the oppurtunity to ask a question and have it answered by the legendary Vinnie Moore...great stuff. OK so Vinnie, why don't you have your own signature guitar from Ernie Ball. I'm a die hard fan of Ernie's guitars, simply the best, and you promote EBMM like crazy, playing the Silo and Axis, plus wearing EBMM tee's. I can think of no better relationship than to have you, Vinnie Moore, one of the all time greats creating a signature guitar with, the greatest guitar company, Ernie Ball. So what do you think...thanks Vinman!

I am not sure about doing a signature model. For whatever reason it doesn't really appeal to me. I tried it once and it didn't go so well.

Who knows though - maybe someday.

Thanks
VM

That is one of the best answers I have ever heard from an amazing guitar player. Simply not interested in a signature. Maybe one day....hehehehe.....I think it would be a good thing for him to have a sig myself....but not a limited run as suggested earlier. I kinda agree with Warg on that. Just my 2 pennies....

im not really into VM's earlier stuff that i have heard, and never liked his tone with the exception of "THE MAZE" i love the tones he gets on that album, its got some great recorded tones.very clean player.

A VM MM would be good,Floyd and those dimarzio blades hey and any excuse for new colours!

I have his "Meltdown" album and I love it. I believe that was made when he was playing Heartfield Talons (Fender's heavy metal guitar which was actually made by Ibanez for them). I have one and think they rock.
