Gotta love the guy. His playing ability is matched only by his ability to listen.

Great find Rob. I love watching studio video on how stuff comes together like that for a song/album. I wish there was more footage available to us. It's an added bonus that Albert Lee is in this one. He is truely phenomenal!

It's really apparent what a professional he is...he just straps in and goes.

Rob

All I can say is wow!!!

Dave Edmunds is a Cardiff guitar hero who I have had the pleasure of having a relaxed drink with for a couple of hours.

I bet that studio was the famous Rockfield studio just on the outskirts of Cardiff where Dave did a lot of his recording.

Isn't that Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) in the background??

Just a useless snippet of info - I played in a Blues band in Cardiff called "Snatch it Back" and our singer (Chris Rees) wrote a song for Dave Edmunds called "Bail you out" which appeared on his album and also a compilation album - he getsa nice little royalty cheque from that every now and then.

Dave Edmunds also came to see our band play a few times and that was scary !!!

Thanks Rob - that clip has stirred up a lot of memories !!!
