I just thought I would share some pictures of the Vintage knobs that a fellow member helped me out with. I think these make a perfect bass look more perfect! :D

Sorry to disagree, but I think the radio knobs tend to cheapen the look of that bass. I like the chrome look myself. JMHO

+1 for me. But hey it's your bass man !

Thanks everyone... also the critics :D

I know it polarizes but I like it and that is what counts ;)

It seems all basses come with the MM style chrome knobs these days.

I vote with MrMatt.
Not all of them, but many seem to have adopted the chrome domes.
If you want to see an example of a built in 2011 vintage jazz with knobs similar to the OP, pm me.

Again, if it works for you that's great. I have Sadowsky style knobs on my Jbass which some folks like and others don't, but I like the look on that bass so I appreciate where you're coming from. One thing though, by changing to those radio knobs you took a bit of weight off that bass. I think those chrome knobs weigh a couple of ounces each and by the last set of the night that might be a plus for you.

Ok, now the secret is out ;):D I cant say it noticeable when playing, but you really feel how heavy those knobs are when you hold them alone in your hand.

Hey Matt,

I think that the "radio knobs" really set off your ray, can you let me know where you picked them up?

Cheers
