Anyone out there using this? This is reported to be a Tubescreamer and high gain pedal rolled into one, at a reasonable price. Can you give me your comments ?

Thanks.

I got one as a gift about 6 years ago. Sounds cool and as neaver let me down. I use the lower gain side as a boost for solos and the higher gain side as almost like a extra preamp. I used the high gain for some Pantera covers at one time. I don't use it much anymore but I like it very much.

I have one as well - it's very flexible - each side sounds very good. The trick is getting both of them to sound good together, but that's not too hard either. They just made some changes to it (silver=old, red=new) but I haven't heard the new one.

Do you want to know anything in particular?

Thindave,

Thanks for the reply. I am mostly looking to simplify my set up. I have a Keeley modded TS7 (that sounds better than the original but still a bit thin) for bluesy overdrive, and a Zoom Tri-Metal for the high gain stuff - the Tri-Metal is quite good but a little too high gain, in fact. It looks like the Jekyll and Hyde can cover this full range, with a fuller TubeScreamer sound.

How would you rate it in terms of bass response and adjustability for overdrive/distortion sounds as compared to other pedals you've used?

Thanks so much.

Jbert
