Hello!
My case is that I need a volum pedal who controls the volume (of course), but also can boost the signal in the events of going from rythm to lead.

I ordered the Boss FV500H, and it's a passive volum pedal, something that let med down, when I hoped for more. Will I get more "punch" from an active one?

My gear:

ESP LTD Gus G 600 (Seymour Duncan Blackout ABH-1 Active Pickups)

Boss Bcb-60 case w/ Boss/MPX pedals.

If you need further info, just ask.

Hope you're abel to inform me, in advance: Thank you!

Hi Fallxzz and welcome to the forum.
The different volume pedals manufactured by EB cater for active or passive guitars, and as such I don't think that they provide a volume boost?
Your best bet is to send a query to the Custimer Support group who will be able to give you the full low down.

Of course, another solution would be to buy the Luke 111 guitar that has a boost control built into the guitar

Edit

Take a look at this thread

Hey Drew, on the MVP pedal, can it also be used for basses too? I have my 4 Bongo's that are very hot electronics wise (As you probably know from working for EBMM) but my Stingray Classic has electronics that are much more quieter. I basically run my Bongo's with everything at 50% but the volume. I run it at max and let the sound guy do his thing with the mix. But with my Stingray Classic, I have to have everything on it maxed out and even then, the sound guy will have to boost my volume quite a bit more. There are times, I would love to play both types of basses at one show but I would almost need a separate channel for the Stingray Classic so that is why I was wondering if the pedal would also work on bass too?
