Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. I am not talking about the signal cutting in and out. That would suggest a simpler problem to fix. What I am experiencing is the volume of my instrument getting unexpectedly quieter and louder. It is in intermittent problem. I have changed the battery, cables, tried it with different amps. I think I have it narrowed down to the electronics of my instrument.

If it matters, my instrument is a 2006 Stingray 5 HH. The knobs feel secure, as does the input jack.

The best and most common advise you will get here is to go to your dealer first, then contact EB customer service if the dealer can't help...mainly because it is nearly impossible to diagnose something like this without getting eyes/ears/hands on the bass.

OTOH, you might want to check the battery terminals and wire connections to the battery box.

Just wondering if you could elaborate on the whole idea/concept of wiring connections to the battery box. The battery terminals look nice and coppery, fwiw.
