Hi! I write from Italy, I need to buy a volume pedal Ernie Ball, I have an active bass, a Tobias and I don't know what kind of pedal purchase.
There are two kinds of mono pedals, the #6166 and #6168 (with the switch).
The description of the #6166 is: "The potentiometer has a 250k ohm resistance suitable for the audio path of passive instruments".
The #6168 is: "The potentiometer has a 250k ohm resistance suitable for the audio path of active or passive instruments".
So my bass is active, i need to buy the #6168 pedal? I don't understand so please help me!

Thanks :)

Hey, if you have one bass that's active, and one that's passive, and you use them both, go with the pedal for active or passive, sounds like a simple solution to me.

If it's for active, it's always for passive aswell, i have a plug in location in my amp for passive and active basses, and one for only passive. I use the active spot. Make sense?
