Hi everyone. I am a newbie here - I just registered to try and find an answer to this question:
I finally ditched my stereo/pan volume and got a VP Jr. 25K (I just got a buffer, too) to save some space. So, it sounds great, but the taper is really wierd. For the first 3/4 of travel it doesn't do much. The last 1/4 of the way is where it all happens.
Is there any way to alter this so that it reacts a little more linearly? I know that the 250K standard pedal has a taper switch. Can you do anything with the string to achieve something similar?

Sorry if this has been asked before - I searched but didn't find anything.

Thanks!
Paul

Pete-
Thanks for the reply. I realize that the 25K is for active electronics. Active meaning that it has been buffered and is a low-impedance signal. I have an Axxess BS-2 buffer running in front of the VP, so the VP is seeing a low-impedance signal.
EB verified that the 25K pedal was the correct choice for this setup. If this was incorrect info I will not be a very happy guy!

Weird. Yeah, the 25k should be the right pedal after the buffer. Odd about the taper, I don't notice it so much on my VP Jr., but that one's in the FX loop.
