Question VP JR Tuner Whirring Noise?

Anyone have a noise problem with VP JR Tuner? Mine make a whirring/static noise . No movement of the pedal is needed....It just whirrs like a bad amp tube.

Hi Bruce,

Does this noise happen when the pedal is used completely separate from anything else? Just guitar -> VP jr -> Amp, power the VP jr off a power supply unconnected to anythign else.
