Did you order one custom made? Bass Central just got several in you may want to check out if it's not too late. I ordered on Friday and it will be here Wednesday. If I hadn't got the Candy Red one I would have got the Carbon Blue. Personally I can't stand the wait when I'm GASsing!

Yeah, the local guitar shop only had a single humbucker carbon blue, and I wasn't going to have that! So I went all out and ordered a Desert Gold 4Banger with all the bells and whistles in the early days of April. I was told the wait time was 2 months. One month down, one more to go!

wow those prices seem high on basscentral, compared to the 4 string desert gold HH i saw at my local Guitar Center...that one was tagged at just over 1K, like 1044 or so. It looked like it had been there a while, played a lot, just not bought, so maybe that's the reason it was priced low.

I played that and liked it, but I'm not in the market right now. But if you're in the Phoenix area, it's at the Guitar Center by Metrocenter.

those prices on their website are list prices, to get the actual cost it would be to you, you would have to either e-mail them or call them expressing interest in which bass you would like to purchase from them

Mine was $50.00 less than getting one from Musicians Fiend on backorder. The case was a pretty good deal, too, considering it is the only one made that will fit it.

Seems like I'm not the only one agonizing right now......I wish I could say that it makes me feel better knowing this, BUT IT DOESN'T!!!!!!
