Obviously, anyone on this forum is a fan of music, guitars, and EBMM MusicMan. I as much as anyone, owning both a Sterling Bass 1H 4 and a BFR jp6 KOA. Maybe I am a little slow to catch on, but until today I was unaware that there was a connected business that caters to another great interest of mine. Grilling and BBQ! (and no, they are NOT the same thing!)

I would like to point out the BigPoppaSmokers site to anyone who hasn't seen it! And I plan to soon add a smokey ball to my other two balls!, I will be playing the blues while smoking some good old fashioned SLO cooked ribs!

(and to Dr Kev and all the moderators, I hope I didn't do anything inappropriate here, but after thinking it over I couldn't foresee anyway it could be a bad thing)

That's some cool stuff, even though I got pretty hungry watching all those Videos.
Do you also Roast the Roasted Maple Necks on a Big Poppa Smoker? :D

I used to be more active in the BBQ sites too, but grad school is killing me. After I graduate in November I'll be getting back into both guitars and BBQ more.

BP I'll be looking for a Jambo by next Spring...

My primo oval xl kamado cooker. It is the BFR of smoking, grilling, etc. I've attached a pic of a pizza. The kids love it. There's nothing like cooking with wood:

Try Living in the UK where good BBQ kit is hard to find and expensive, unfortunately to most Brits, BBQ means incinerated burgers and chicken drumsticks that are burnt to a crisp outside and raw inside!!!

sounds like the average american cook barny

LOL, so its not just us Brits then!!

So quick question, I am a very keen cook and I love BBQ, got really hooked when I got my first Steven Raichlen book, it really opened my eyes to the sheer potential of BBQ/Smoking. Any recommendations for other good books on BBQ'ing/Smoking???

It just takes a little effort. That is a great book " How to Grill" by Steven Raichlen.

My grill is used year-round and have always wanted a smoker. Finally my wife got me one as a present but it needs to use a propane tank. That doesn't seem right to me so I haven't ever fired it up.
That pizza looks really tasty! I only thought of smokers for meat but I bet that pizza tastes better than average.
