Noticed this oddball JP6 baritone in the Romavarium fan club DVD recorded on October 31 2005. Appears to be a orange burst JP6 non-piezo with a fixed bridge, solid maple neck and only 22 frets. Anyone familiar or have better pictures?

Nice catch! Looks perhaps slightly customized with the 3 way switch and probably a regular guitar nut.

That's what JP used before they developed the Original JP BFRs and came out with the JP Baritone, which sadly got discontinued.
I remember a Video of JP showing the Gear he used for Octavarium, and showing that Guitar, you could see the slot where the 5 Way Switch used to be, and probably Maddy installed the JP Style 3 Way Switch and removed the Rotary Switch the Silhouette Baritone usually has.
Seeing older Pictures of JP like that, I always wonder if he still has all the Guitars he played over the Years.

Would be cool to dig up that video. I suspect it's still around. Had the opportunity to chat with Maddi recently and asked about gear archival - pretty much everything JP has used is still sitting in their warehouse, all the way back to guitars from when he was a kid.

I think that's a bone stock Silhouette bass, he may have just lost the knob on the mode switch (which was a rotary switch, looks like a regular pot with the knob on, there is also a standard 5-way switch closer to the neck pickup), and the Silo bass always had a standard nut (compensated nut from 2006 on).
