The Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon...no other wah has the tone control and versatility that this one has, plus you have the option of using the wah in "Auto-Switch" mode or "Normal"...in other words as soon as you step on it, it turns on and vice versapeterd79 said:I'm looking for a new Wah-Wah... what do you suggest?
I'm looking at the Dunlop Crybaby or the VOX clyde...

I really like the Wah sound JP gets on Voices and even the big solo in the beginning of This Dying Soul.
I also like Steve Vai's Wah sound on both the live and G3 performances of For The Love Of God. The latter is the BH and the former is...? Cry Baby?
I guess my point is... how much of the difference in the wah tones of the Dream Theater songs and the Vai songs is the guitar tone itself and if I'm fond of the Cry Baby sound if I'd be dissapointed in the Bad Horsie(Which I am very interested in because of the switchless operation.)

I had a BH for a while, and I thought the Bad Horsie is a great wah when you're playing distorted or heavily overdriven guitar, but I don't think it holds a candle to the Budda in the clean department...mesavox said:How would you guys say the Bad Horsie wah compares tonally to the classic Vox/crybaby fasal sound?
