can someone tell me: how does the pedal movement compare to that of the standard VP? i find the VP to be nicely resistant and at present, i use one as an expression pedal with my G-system. one of the effects is a wah and i find the movement of the VP a bit stiff for quick wah work.

so does the EB wah operate a little smoother ...?

I'm not sure the Wah is any more or less 'smooth' than the VP jr. (I've got both on my pedalboard), but the Wah doesn't have as wide a range of motion as the VP Jr.
(That's a good thing. The EB Wah's sweep is larger than Dunlop-style wahs, but if it moved as much as the VP Jr. your calf would get very tired! And I think it wouldn't be as playable... especially when you're trying to move the wah rapidly.)

Anyway, it's a great pedal and you should try one! It will sell itself.

no prob, b. :D

I went from a Dunlop crybaby to the EB wah, and like Steve said, the sweep is different. It's definitely a different sound than the Dunlop.

When I first plugged it in, I kind of thought it was almost too much of a difference for me. It was almost too smooth/fast and covered too much of a sweep too quickly in that short range, but I got used to it in like two minutes. I guess I was so used to heavy-footing the old Dunlop. This one takes a little more finesse.

I like it, though. It's really a nice pedal - sounds great, action is smooth, well made (built like a tank, like the volume pedals) and I can't tell you how GREAT it is to have the SIMPLE LED on/off lights. I don't know many times I've missed turning off an old non-led wah before, when coming out of a solo back into the tune or something...

Yes!!! Mine just came in!!! (thanks again Kyle!)
I can't wait to try it out.
Unfortunately I may not be able to for a couple of days because of my work schedule.

HOLY #%*( FOGGY! You got one without posting for 2 years about possibly buying one?

Congrats, but no pics no wah :D

I guess I did my time because they announced them like 2 years ago and I said then I would buy one! :D;)

I'll find a camera and post pics of it next to my Dargie to make it legit.

Oh man!!!!
I tried this thing out for the first time. I'd always wanted a wah but never had one. It is way to much fun!!! and yes, it's very smooth compared to a lot of them out there. :D
