Hey all, I Just ordered a John Petrucci 7, in Mystic-Dream, loaded.... minus the inlays.
I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate wait time to have this shipped to me? It's only the second day and I'm dying to get my hands on this thing!

Thank You!

Matt

5 - 6 months, so, if you ordered now you would recieve your guitar around oct. or nov.
It will be well worth the wait !!

I ordered mine November 15th of last year. I got a call that it would arrive in early April, and I was stoked, got my hopes up and... no guitar. I'm guessing with the newly released BFRs and F1's and such, production was slightly slowed or something, I don't know what caused that, but anyway... it arrived May 11th, 4 days away from being exactly 6 months.

Case in point, look forward to it, but also allow yourself room from some surprise, otherwise you'll get your hopes up like I did and be dissappointed the last month of wait.

Of course, all dissappointment will fade instantaneously when you open the box, mine hasn't left my hands since :]

Well I can only hope it arrives, 6 month's is a long wait.....

What are the ods of getting someone @ EB excited to build my JP7 with the options I want and giving us some kind of a blog or progress update on the build, maybe a few production photo's of various stages of the build......for an added element of torture of course.
I'm dreaming but it would be fun to see and hear! I know EB's damn busy, something like that is just too time consuming, but I can day dream, no? :)

Thanks for the replies, glad you got yours early jagged....there is hope, what a suprise that must have been!

Jimothy is well-regarded on this forum as one of the few members that can type with their toes.
I am also one of those members. I have even taken the liberty of surgically grafting my JP to my arms leaving me just enough hand movement to play it.
If you think it's difficult to integrate your pinky into playing the guitar, wait until you have to use your pinky toe to type.

I wouldn't count on it. As far as I know we've only been updated on the construction of a guitar when its the first model of a new line (like a pinkburst AL or a BFR F-1). It is a cool dream though. :D
