Demo vid for the curious.

Before the GameChanger I knew about MIDI and had done a few things on the computer for backing tracks but had never used it with any live gear. After my escapades with the GameChanger on Saturday I know that the possibilities are endless.

With one step on a stomp switch you could cue up sound samples, toggle stage lighting, eliminate your drummer, switch channels on your amp, toggle effects on/off, and I suppose you could even change your pickup configuration.

If you are a tweaker this is for you.

Nicely done, Pete! Have you tried doing the same stuff, but FROM your Game Changer, instead of to it?!?!? That is the stuff that got me really excited! Being able to change your settings from anywhere on stage with your instrument is pretty "freeing" to say the least (IMO).

That's what sold me on it. It's like having an onboard midi storage of sorts. There's probably better terminology but that's what comes to mind off the cuff.

I play 5-string so I'm hoping they'll come out with one in the future. I've reached my apparent allotment of 2 basses per year so maybe they'll have a 5er by next spring.

Having never used MIDI before it took me an hour and a half to get it to work on the MIDI "IN" and at that point my patience was worn too thin and I was too beat to try and figure out how to do it backwards and use the guitar as the controller.

I unfortunately have to wait a few weeks until I get home to start messing around with my GC bass. If no one's posted any bass stuff yet by then I'll be happy to do so.
