Have any of you heard about this competition?

A company called Bodog Music is running a contest to find the best unsigned band in North America and the best unsigned band in Europe. The grand prize is a One Million Dollar record deal with their record label!

It’s totally free to enter and gives bands an opportunity to network, gain local and national TV, Radio and Print exposure, meet other local bands, promoters, and play some awesome new venues!


Bodog Battle is where you can sign up, and check out last year's competition that was held in the USA that's now a reality TV show on FuseTV Bodog Music Battle of the Bands.

It's not a contest between Ernie Ball and Bodog though. Ernie Ball is offering bands the chance to play on Warped Tour which is a one time thing. If the band who wins gets discovered and signed, kudos to them.

Bodog is offering bands the chance to compete, network and gain exposure all across North America and Europe and the winning band gets signed to Bodog Records.

It's not a comparison at all. The only similarity is the words "Battle of the bands"
