Greetings!

I found a white Silo I really like at the local GC. It is a closeout item and has some minor cosmetic problems such as dings and scratches. It also has a neck pocket crack about a 1/2 inch. This bothers me a little because I don't know how to find is this structural or cosmetic. It is very reasonably priced and I am considering buying it.

Hopefully the neck pocket crack can be fixed under the warranty. I am wondering if the same warranty applies to closeout items as opposed to normal items. Are the closeouts considered new or used?

Thanks

DR, you need to talk to GC I would think to see if it's new or used. When I got my AL it was 3 years old, it had been hanging around GC. It had fret sprout something bad. But because it was considered new, EBMM considered it still under warranty.

You could contact CS with the serial number, they might be able to tell you too.

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)

If it's a new item I believe you'll have a warranty. As Glenn said, you can ask the CS guys to be sure.

Btw, the stress cracks are purely cosmetic. Sounds like this was either a used item or a store demo. If you don't mind that and it's a good price, I'd say you're off to the races.
