Question Was there(& will there be) a Musicman 8-string bass??

I've always been a fan of Musicman basses(I`ve owned a Musicman Sterling before). Recently I`ve been very interested in 8-string basses(a bass version of the 12-string guitar), and was wondering if there has been any 8-string basses from Musicman, or maybe will there be any in the future? I think it'd be really cool!

A few years ago a 6 string EBMM was just a pipe dream so you never know with BP at the controls. Hey if those Pearl Jam and Cheap Trick bubbas join the family...
