I'm watching Ed Friedland in Austin right now, making some
wonderful music on his Sterling 5. What a musician!

Poppa, if you're in Austin and I didn't know about it; I'm going to feel pretty bad!

[sings] I always feel like, someone is watching me....

Good seeing you and John last night Ben. Another gig that confirmed for me that the Sterling 5 kicks major ass! It's neat because after playing on 35" scale 5's for several years, I feel like I've been set free! It's so nice to play on a 34" that doesn't suffer on the B string, I can finally play again.

BP - I hope it was on Youtube... otherwise you might be in violation of that restraining order.... ;)

Ed Im watching to make sure that you dont pocket any of the forks or knick knacks and curios...

OK thanks ED...ONly about 21 years I get people bitching that it isnt 35" but they also forget that Ive sold more USA 5 strings than anyone..... I think that 34 feels better and dudley desgins them so they sound as good as a 35

Forks? Think bigger, I'm trying to fit that bottle of Lagavullen in my gig bag!

RE: 35 vs 34".... As much as a 35" scale B sounds great, I've never been able to get fully comfortable with the feel. The tension, the spacing... I mean, I can play it, but it doesn't feel like home.
