Just got thru waxing all of my EBMM's, didn't need the oil this time....just put a couple of light coats of wax on (including the pimp'd DG JP6...looks just like it did when it arrived here....like glass again!) and things are dodally dawesome again!

Next up: Pickup experiment...a set of EVH's going in the MD JP6...pix to follow...

Did you do any sanding first or did you just apply the wax?

I don't know about what OC did, but I figured I'd throw my two cents in here. I just did the sand/oil/wax recently and I can tell you it is the best thing I ever did. I wish I hadn't waited so long to do it. My neck feels like silk now, and looks better than it did new in my opinion.

mine didn't get raw enough to have to sand...it's all about the maintenance...just started getting a little rough...plus with the spring on it's more of a necessity to keep things nicey nice since the Long Island climate is a little unforgiving and i've been racking them out of their cases of late since i've been playing so much...

My 3 EBMMs and Wolfgang are due for a wax... I've been looking for a guide but have yet to find one. Any clues?

Do a search of this forum, I posted what I did, and there were a couple of others that I used for advice. As well as all the little tips and stuff posted here and there.
