Anybody else bought one and found it to be a poor fit? I ordered one on line and when I got it the screw holes didn't all line up but aside from that I thought the gap around the pickup and neck were pretty huge. This was a guard with the truss notch, I bought a non-truss notch guard from them a couple years ago and it's a much better fit around the pickup and neck (and the screws line up...)

I don't have any experience with that company but I would only buy pickguards from MM from now on. If you need something custom make a template from your current pickguard and have it made from that.

I´ve ordered three times pickguards at WD with and without the notch for different Stingrays (the last time only weeks ago) and they were all fitting. I´m mean sometimes they were not absolutely perfect, but at least the screw holes were okay!

I would stay away from WD. In my experience, the fit was ridiculously bad, and they gave me a real hard time when I asked for a refund.

If you don't mind a substantial wait, Pickguard Heaven/Chandler guards fit like a glove (aren't they the official EBMM supplier?).

Chandler is where EB Customer Service sent me when I inquired about a clear Big Al SSS pickguard.

I've got 3 pick guards from WD for EBMMs in the past and never had a problem. One SR4, one SR5 and one Bongo4. They all fit and lined up just fine. I think I did a template for the SR5, but that was a long time ago.

I purchased or tried to get a clear one for a PBB Sterling. They sent me a Stingray 5 pickguard and when I called to tell them, I was treated so rudely by one of the owners I was shocked. Later one of the customer service reps actually apologized to me for her behavior. I was told by her that the pickguard I received was for a Sterling and it was the only one they had. I basically did not know what I was talking about. They lost a customer forever that day, still one of my worst customer service experiences ever. I ended up getting one from Chandler that fit nicely.

Well, I sent the pickguard back with the tracing of a stock one as per their request, but they got back to me that they were going to make the pickguard for my tracing as a custom pickguard and while they would give me a deal it was going to be 5 bucks more than their stock stingray guard and this pickguard would come with no guarantee, also I would be paying shipping (a third time) and duty (a second time)..... I just wasn't convinced I would get a god fitting pickguard out f it considering the fit of the first one so I asked for a refund. They gave me the refund but charged a 15% restocking fee which I thought was a load of crap. So I'm ordering one from Chandler....
