Stil dont know if there were some in Irak, but now its official : I've receivde my Bongo (ok George W ?).
It's a real pleasure to play it. Astonishing comfort and playability.
Nice look : I like everything from the body shape to the headstock. Mine is carbon blue, with moonstone PG (sorry no pics for the moment).
And what a sound ! I've got this 4 string H/H combination since a week, and I'm really kicked by the range of different sounds you can have out of this bass. Great job from EB MM !
2 downs : one of the big bolts that hold the bridge was so loose I could unscrew it by hand. I had to thigten it.
Wen I play the A string without picking the fretboard (so to get a A), with a pick going downward, the string is buzzing against the metal dot on the headstock that keep it down. Is there any possibility to avoid this ?
As this is my first thread, I'd like to thank those of you (especially Bovine) that posted threads about Bongos, with photos and info, that helped me waiting the four long months to get the bass.
So now I'm going to make the walls of the flat fall down !
