Hi there, I came in for some help, I experienced some weird and strange metallic noise when I put the palm of my hand on bridge of my newly JP6 and when I take the whamy bar it became awful (like spring noise or like de- or-retuning hardly the G and B string) using the piezzo is practically impossible, I was playing the intro of DT's Pull me Under and every time I was Using the Whammy Bar It goes like I was imitating bird noise with a Floyd Rose (It goes Bzouing every time) impossible to play the tune :(
Is there someone who experienced the same kind of problem and what is the remedy.
Thank you very much in advance for your help

PS: I insist It's not a battery problem the piezzo play very well until I keep the whammy bar on hand althought not using the bar or when I rest my hand on the bridge.

Sounds like someone messed with the factory setup and now your bridge is out of adjustment and shifts when you use the trem. Call customer service or take it to the tech where you bought it.

I'd just take it to the best tech you can find, and tell them what you want. It'll get fixed up for ya ;)

I wish I had a JP6, even if it made strange noises! They probably sound better than what I produce out of the instrument anyway! :D

Soon enough, I guess.

Good luck, friend.

This is gonna sound really dumb, but are you sure your cable is plugged into the guitar all the way? I was doing a little home recording yesterday just for grins, and couldn't figure out why there was this annoying high pitch sizzle going on. D'oh!

I don't know the song you are doing but when you play a piezo with a whammy you can't really dive bomb as the string needs to have good contact with the crystal in the bridge.

I just tried a few "bombs" on my Piezo AL and the sound really breaks up.

No no folks I don't do dive bombs when I play with the piezzo, the noise appears just by letting my hand on the bridge (the normal palm pressure) and just by taking the bar to use it (not having use it already), it's like a mix of spring noise and and strings noise amplified by the piezzo. :(
