Weird Silo I found, any info?

Looks like a Silo neck that came from a floyded silo body, but silo special body? Looks pretty new too.

Just looks like a modded Silo to me.
I'm only on my PDA, so can't see the pics that well, but the body / lower horn has Silo written all over it.

Silo spec body won't take a Silo neck (and vice versa).

Probably just an aftermarket pick-guard, with a (big, ugly & crooked) string tree added.

I'm with you Dizz.. my immediate thought was "wtf.. wonder why he added a string tree". If it was actually a modded neck off an earlier floyd silo you would certainly notice... Holes in the back of the neck, missing wood where the clamps should be etc..

The seller is smoking seriously large amounts of crack dreaming up that price.
Someone should drop him an email and tell him to put the pipe down.

Definately a silo body. Just look at the pg. 3 screws on the upper side vs the specs 4. I have both models sitting close too each other, and after awhile a silo pickguard looks sort of squished and a specs pg looks like there is more than enough room. Just envision a humbucker up top and you'll get the idea.

I don't get it... That's a Silhouette body... not a Silo Spec body... The string retainer bar is probably installed later, but that nut job shows it's not a floyd prepped neck.

I thought i'd ask him. This was the answer, unfortunately we are none the wiser...

"Hey scott, This guitar is totally stock. Im not sure why the pickup configaration is different im more than happy to check with the guys from Ernieball if you wish for more information? It is a great sounding and great playing guitar. Im not sure about the string tress but they are defentlily stock. Hope that helps"
