After having the Dean Pace EUB for a few weeks now, I have decided that I must have a regular fretless electric bass. Man, it's really addictive. I'm having a lot of fun playing fretless upright but now I would like a regular electric bass with a fretless neck to try.

I know the feeling - really...

I recently got very interested in fretless bass. Mostly it was hearing songs that were blatantly "fretless" bass that got me curious. Then I spent some time fooling around with one and loved it...

The a few months ago I start hangin' around here and get caught-up in all this "Bongo Lust" and start thinking "Well crap, now I'm going to have to have a Bongo".

Killed two birds with one stone (figuratively speaking, of course)...

Buttercream Bongo fretless on the way! :D

I am just not sure if me and fivers are meant to be, which breaks my heart because I love that color. Rest assured I do love fretless and musicmans though. Part of my problem is that the neck on my Reverend is so nice, it spoils me. However, I do know that I find the neck on a Sterling to be close to the next best thing.

Yes, I've also decided to take the plunge. I am getting a Sterling unlined fretless with a Piezo bridge. What happened is, about a year ago I bought a MIM Jazz fretless. And while the tone was cool, it was really a one trick pony. So, I waited till I came across this Sterling and now I can't resist. I will post photos as soon as I get it.

Have played fretless since I fist started playing - about 20 years ago now. Would not change for anyone.
Hell if Les Claypool can do all that stuff on a six fretless who am I to argue.
