Yea, the French were a total disaster...they didnt have Zidane to work the magic like 4 years ago. My country (Slovakia) failed as well...but still proud that they managed to get into the World Cup out of all the Central European countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine...).

LoL I'm guessing that I imagined the English support for the home nations in the qualifiers, and how gutted we were in 96 that Holland scored to put Scotland out.......

I've been real impressed with US's 'never say die' attitude. The germans...well....we'll see, and the French - well, best just to forget about it, not sure what Dominech was doing in charge in the first place - maybe they should have put Blanc in prior to the World Cup...Italy haven't looked great either...
