Very, very cool look.. totally love the look of this axe...?

Okay.. how does the sound of a Silo Special guitar differ from other EB's single coil guitars... such as the Luke and the Al..??

Obviously, I haven't had a chance to play a Silo as of yet...

Well since the Luke has EMG's I think the difference is huge, though I've only tried a Luke for a short time and I'm not a Luke owner.

Sorry my AL's got MM90's so I'm not much help here either. Though I find the AL and Silhouette Special on the same par guitar was (comfort and what not).

I love the sound of the Silhouette Special single coils, and the silent circuit is just like the best thing. The Silhouette Special was my 1st EBMM and will always be my favorite. :D

well i own a silo spec and a luke, they are very different. silo is more rawer truer strat like sound , luke is more controlled, less punch i would say. i notice it more on stage if i go between the two guitars, massive difference. Luke is the safer option, always sounds good. silo spec you have to work a little harder, much like a strat, to coax the best single coil sounds out of it. but it sure is worth it!!!!

That looks great! If ever you feel the need to send it for a long holiday to the UK, I'll happily put it up here!:D

Thanks a bunch guys!

I think what I'm gonna do is build a second pickguard assembly for my current SS to make it an HH setup (might have to do some minor routing, too. So that way I'll havwe two Silos with three available pickup options. Wheeee!!!!
