I have been looking for a good home / practice amp for months now and have not been really happy with anything at my local music stores so I pulled the trigger on a Huhges & Kettner Tubemeister 18! I simply just went off of youtube videos and user reviews. Never done that before but I think its going to be a good match for my H&K CC212 2x12 cab. Now the waiting the few weeks for it too show up is just going to suck..

Very nice! I bought the head a month ago but my current cab blows chunks.

Waiting on a new speaker to give me those rich, creamy tones.

Yep great amp, mines a combo, why is it such a long wait? Mine was at home in less than three days, congrats on getting one!

Thats awesome.

I have a Laney GH100L, but with 100 watts I need a hot plate badly in order to saturate the tubes and get that overdrive I love in the british amps!

I got one back in October. I love the amp! The features the amp are just awesome plain and simple! Perfect match for EBMM. That amp + Steve Morse MM= tonal ecstasy. Personally I like it better with a 1x12 cab. I use my orange cab a lot of with. I've played it a few times with sort of a mini stack thing. That was pretty cool.

Congrats dude!

Well I'll be.. I'm going to have to demo this one out. I used to own a H&K tubeman MkII, what a lovely massive pedal that was. Loved the tone out of it! I'm guessing that they incorporated much of that tone into this head, and plus, it's pretty affordable according to some sites I've seen. Good luck on yours..

I have a Tubemeister Head since July and I love it. It's great, easy and you get many nice sounds out of it. Im using it with a Framus CS 212, but I need also a better box....

Congrats on the Tubemeister 18! I like mine quite a bit so far. I have the head/cab also. It rips very nice even on the 1W setting! Good stuff!

The head is on back order at guitar center. They say I am 26th in line at the moment and I should have it in 3 to 4 weeks. It is not the longest I have waited for something but it still stinks. One of the only reasons I ordered it from them is I had a $100 off coupon plus it was free shipping.

I have had one for a while. I love it! I have the head. You can bring JUST THE HEAD to rehearsal and plug into the rehearsal PA (via the xlr redbox out on back). Wow! Sounds very big, but is very small. Using into a bogner cube 1/12 loaded with celestion neodymium speaker. that is super light too. Very flexible and great tone.

Yeah I have a Hughes and Ketter CC212 2x12 with green backs that I picked up from a friend for a killer price So it is mainly Going to be played through that. Depending on how it sounds I might down size from my Mesa triple rec and just use this for gigs. The redbox out seems like a awesome feature.

Got it, I bought mine from Musicians Friend both were in stock but now the head is a long backorder, it will be worth the wait, super versatile little amp, imo the head is even better since you can match your fav speaker.
