... after much searching I found and put money down on what is to be my first of many (analogmage can vouge for my bass buying/collection habits LOL) MM basses.

My first shall be a 2007 LE Blue Dawn SR4 HH Maple board.
Again because of analogmage (member here) I caught the 2007 LE G.A.S real bad.

It was real hard to say no to the Bongo...but alas I will wait for the 6 string to rear it's head.

My fiver I'm sure will be the forth comming Sterling 5.....I'm betting it will be an LE (if everything comes to pass at NAMM).

After that, time will tell.

Well as I don't have the bass in my hands yet I can't take a pic...but lucky for me Chuck Levins (where I bought it) had a pic of of the particular bass I sent money in on. Thanks again to Brian Meader for the hook up.
So here it is....this is the one I'm buying. So after the holidays I'll get to paying that sucker of quick and get on to the next bass.

My B6 is just about due to leave the factory so now my 5 string hunt is on.
I'll have to wait to know for sure but the fiver just might be a Bongo.
I can't get the Sterling 5 LE08 out of my mind though.
I'd like to hear from anyone that has a Bongo 5 and a Sterling 5. What's your opinion on the difference?
If it is a Bongo 5 It will not be in the LE 09 color. So suggestions there would be appreciated as well. (not Desert Gold, that's the color of my B6)
Thanks in advance.

Thanks again to Brian Meader for the hook up.

Brian truly is the MAN, I'm taking delivery from him this Saturday of the Sterling HS Cherryburst I special ordered last winter (which is identical to the display photo on the EBMM website, oddly enough). Hard to find Bongos of any flavor on the east coast though; the one I snagged from Brian had been hanging on the wall for years, so they don't order many for stock.
