Hi guys,

I arrived at home about two hours ago and I'm still completely impressed by this entire weekend. I'll keep it short for now because I want to go to bed early, but here's a few things I would like to say:

1) thank you Sterling, or BP, whatever you like best, you did a more than wonderful job and I'm more than grateful that you organized this whole event. You are a one-of-a-kind guy and you deserve a gazillion credits for everything you arrenged for us, the Knuckleheads.
2) to the EBMM crew, and that includes all of you guys out there in SLO: you are a magnificent bunch. I was awestruck by the massive amount of time you people put into the details and that really is what makes EBMM THE best guitars in the bizz. I just felt like part of the family for the entire weekend and that really means something to me :)
3) Beth, thank you once more for taking us home on Saturday in the wee hours. You rock...
4) Kbaim, Koogie, Pete, Dave, Beej, Thindave, GWDavis, Fsmith, Ernie, Phattduck and all the other forumites I'm forgetting right now: you really impressed me with your personalities and playing abilities. It makes me wish the USA were my neck of the woods, I really enjoyed hanging out with you and you are all wonderful guys. I'm glad we have this forum to keep talking to each other and keep each other posted.
5) I had a blast and I would shout it from the top of the roof if necessary. BP is my man and the things you did for me/us will forever be etched in my heart.
6) Dudley, Jon, and all the factory workers out there: you know how to create magnificent instruments and I hope you will keep on doing this for a very long, long time
7) I already mentioned this to BP on Saturday but I will repeat it again: Sterling, if you ever come over to Belgium for one thing or another, let me know. I will be glad to show you around and have you stay at my place. The same goes for all of you guys. If you come over for one thing or another, let me know, we'll arrange something. I can't even imagine anybody else willing to do such a thing for a bunch of customers that you only know from talking to on an internet forum. You showed a lot of respect for us Sterling and you made clear that you trust us in showing your factory and giving us the opportunity to try out all the different models you make. I only hope that we payed you back in respect, during the open house as well as on this forum...
8) A big thank you also to the signature artists. Besides the fact the you are all top notch in your playing ability, you clearly showed that your love for Music Man goes deeper than just the endorsement. You are definitely the best.

I could ramble on here for hours, but I will not.

Yet again, thank you all. It was worth every minute of it.

PS: BP, if it's OK with you, I would like to PM you one of these days to speak about some EBMM topics for Europe, that is, if you have time to listen to my thoughts. Just let me know...

EBMM is the one thing that binds us all, the passion we all share, and all this comes forth from a factory in SLO run by a fantasitic person who's working with a fantastic crew. I got to get saving for my next MM... :) :D

Thank you,

cheers, Tom.

Tom,

I very glad to see you're home all safe and sound. When I left you on Sunday I was thinking about the long trek you had to get home. I know the open house was worth the long trip, but you are still one dedicated EBMM fan. It was very nice meeting you and all the other guys from the open house.

Seeing you there and knowing what all you went through to be there was one of the coolest things I saw. It just made me feel good. I think the photo of you on this thread is worthy of a frame and should be put in several prominate locations.

Thanks guys,

the picture Pete posted really sums it all up for me. It will be etched in my heart forever and I had the chance to play al the different EB models and that will probably be the only time in live I get my chance of doing that.

I'm still a little tired though, why would that be ...

Keep on rocking guys,

Tom.

Oh great, Chelsea's found us...everyone hide! ;)

"mini norm" is NorM's niece Chelsea, who accompanied him and I (along with NorM's girl) to the Open House. She's good people, and was dubbed "mini norm" by Arin the Oompa Loompa. LOL! She's a handful, I'll tell you what...but I had fun keeping her corraled. It made the weekend more interesting. ;)

Just so you all know, "grouch ass b*tches" is a play and a destruction of Spanish which was born in the car (there's only so much one can do on a 9 hour drive...you have to entertain yourself somehow!), so don't think that it was directed at "y'all".

Looking forward to those pics, spazz...
