Time to say goodbye to the family and the basses.

Departing on Saturday for Iraq with a stop in DFW and 3 weeks in Ft Jackson SC so this sailor can get "soldierized" before going there.

I'm pretty excited about putting on an Army uniform and working with these landlubbers.

I think internet will be readily available in Iraq because the last guy in charge did a pretty good job building the place up. I don't mind getting shot at but I'll be damned if I miss Facebook updates!
