Were all Axis Sport bodies Ash?

Does anyone know if all the Axis Sports were made of Ash or were they available with different types of wood? I`m asking because i heard from somewhere that they were all Ash but the grain on my Sport looks more like Alder or something else. It doesn`t matter to me but i`m curious to know because since their discontinued i can`t find any info out there on the Sport models. Thanks!

AFAIK, yes - all Sports had bodies made of ash. Do you have a pic of this guitar?

Well........i found out all the answers to my questions on my own in just under 3 hours,not that anyone cares! so i would like to thank myself for making it all possible. : )

smk5150.......Sorry i didn`t see your response!!!!! You must have posted it while i was writing my response! *lol* No i havn`t taken any pics of it yet. It`s a beautiful guitar but its not as highly figured as some other Ash bodies i`ve seen,not that this matters to me but i thought it might have been Alder or something!
