It's funny that he's trying to peddle an obvious knock-off and then have the balls to ask for $700 or a good bass, not a "sh**** Mexican" bass. The story of the inline tuners and the line about the custom shop made me laugh until my sides hurt. I wouldn't give him the lint in my pocket for such garbage. What a douchekill.
That was in it's own way the most entertaining yet stupid sales pitch I've ever seen.
Epic!
For posterity, here's the blurb:
"" This is a completely custom bass that i had made for me when ernie ball music man had the make your own bass custom orders in 2009 why its custom: - i asked for a natural wood finish, raw, not shiny
- i asked for bartolini bass pickups for a better sounding bass
- i usually trip and pull out the chord when i play since it comes out through the bottom so i asked for it to come out through the front of the body with only 3 tone
knobs instead of 4
- when i do bass spins and all that stuff i usually get the bottom tuner knob of the bass caught in something so i asked for a headstock that has 4 on the top as
opposed to the usual 3 on top 1 on bottom - they let me put a custom logo on my bass, which is right next to the ernie ball logo
- i asked for a 4 screw backplate so there are less holes = better sound (as opposed to the 6 hole backplate) its natural raw wood finish with black stripe along the edge of the body
bartolini pickups sound amazing
brand new strings selling it because i dont play bass anymore. note: this IS a CUSTOM stingray model that i payed about 500 bucks extra to make so OBVIOUSLY its not going to look like all of the other stingray models""
Man, I wish someone had a picture..... thats exactly what I was going to see if I could have made .... you know... for when I do bass spins and all that stuff.....
