I don't know the model number, I think it sounded really nice though. It was small, i'm guessing maybe 10 or 15 watts tops. I'm sure if you take a look at the GC website it'll be on there.
It was pretty barebones. Volume, 3 band eq, and a useless chorus. (at least to me, even on 2 or 3 it wasn't very subtle...it added 2 much "warble" for my taste).

It's a 10W...
I'd go with the CA15 instead (12W) and get a bigger speaker and reverb among a few other features... Very tempting for the piezo that my BFR is equipped with! Now if that BFR would just show up that would be awesome in itself...

These are pretty cool. I tried the Loudbox 100 and Loudbox Performer at GC. I liked them both.

I've got a hartke b-60 bass amp sitting around the house. Could it be used for the piezo? I know Roburado uses this approach. What are the biggest differences b/w an acoustic amp and a bass amp? I'm guessing the EQ is the difference...

That AER has great specs but the price tag is a bit much for a home performance only knucklehead. At least for this one.

I guess it depends on your bass amp. My MarkBass has a woofer and a tweeter. So, I suppose that helps. If it's just got a big woofer, I don't know how well that idea would work.

IMHO, MOST of the acoustic amp offerings and preamps and stuff are meant for the acoustic guitars of the world. Trying to make them sound natural at higher volumes. A piezo electric is a bit of a different animal. Ultimately, the PA is where the piezo ends up. The EBMM preamp sounds great right into a EON. Process to taste. You'll probably need a ground lift somewhere inline with whatever you come up with. My ground lift is a wireless.
Beside JBL EON , any other active PA speaker I should check out?

Thanks for the info. I think mine is just ported and does not have a tweeter. I've been trying to trade it for an acoustic amp here locally but no luck yet. I wouldn't mind to trade it for an actual acoustic either...

I use the Roland AC-60 for my JP's piezo. It's a great little amp that's compact, but still has plenty of punch. Some amps seem to slightly color the acoustic tone, but IMO, this unit sounded more natural compared to others.
