When i was trying out my Silo in the shop i plugged into a Mesa Nomad combo 55 all tube.

I had never even heard of the nomad before, it sounded awesome ! Really smooth clean sounds and warm crunchyness.

Not to state the obvious, but the JP6 really sings with Mesas, especially the MkIV. There is also a guy on the Petrucci forum who gets the most fabulous tone out of a JP6 and a Mesa F-50. The 20th Ann Silo seems to work well with almost anything although in high gain mode and for crunch it seems to do better with my Marshall half-stack than with the Mesa. The cleans through a Mark IV are amazing, however. I must admit, I have always wanted to try my 20th with a H&K Switchblade because it is such a versatile guitar and the Switchblade is such a flexible amp.

I use a Rocktron Prophesy into a Carvin TS-100 amp out to a 5150 bottom cabinet. My Axis sound huge through it, as do all my other guitars.

I've used Axis, JP6, Silhouette and Special, Luke through lots of amps, they sound damn good in them all. That's true...
Right now I'm using Luke with my Soldano, sounds perfect.

Tobin,
It really depends not only on what style of music you'll play but which EBMM you are planning to buy/already have. I'd highly recommend almost any Mesa Boogie for the JP but not for the AL etc.
But +1 on the fact that EB's sing through any amp. Right now I'm playing my JP through a 40W Korean Made Samick amp (before I'm publicly flogged let it be known that quality amps are nonexistent in kuwait and that shipping costs will be in excess of 500 dollars) and with a little amp modeling my JP rocks hard!! When I'm back in the states I'll probably buy a better amp, as long as I'm not lured into buying another Ball first.

I'm really liking my Luke through the Orange Tiny Terror and PPC212 Cab. Versatile and plenty loud.
