I wanted to see what all the hype was about. So I just bought the Dream Theater - Live at Budokan.

I am watching while I am working at my computer.

Speaking of Rio.

Iron Maiden's Rock in Rio is incredible.
It is so good, even they're were dumbfounded! Bruce's words of course!

Man fogman, that is one of the most incredible LIVE recordings EVER! I was floored when I seen it, and I couldn't believe the quality...I love Niko's screw up on 2 Minutes To...

Agreed.
There's no video I watch repeatedly more than that one.
If you like Maiden only sligthly, it'll make you more of a fan.
I recommend it all the time.

They're not my favourite, but love them regardless. Out of all the concerts I've seen in person. Their's has always been one of the best!

Well they're definately a favorite of mine, seen them in Montreal in January, and they were spectacular, better now then when I saw them on their SIT tour, way back in my long hair days :D

im planning my album. my life went crazy on me the last few months (of course it involves a girl) and im gonna do a concept album about it ... i might tell the story backwards: kinda like that movie Memento, but with music.

things have been crazy enough were ive been afraid to write ... kinda like i dont have the balls to even open up the flood gates. but i figure its time. so ya ... that's what im doing. i figure ill record it all on my iBook and maybe make a few dozen copies or whatever; its more for me than anything

Dude- I hear ya. That was my last year. Long time girlfriend packed up, had to buy her out of our house, yada yada yada. Life was rough for a long time.

I've got to do the same- I have a ton of stuff written and on the old 4-track, but nothing polished and properly recorded.

Love to hear your stuff when yer done!

Hmm.... DESPARETLY WAITING TO GET MY GUITAR BACK FROM EBMM!!!!!!
According to FedEx they received it today. I should call them tomorrow, I guess.
I have to play tomorrow at passover event, so had to borrow my friend's Peavey Tele clone with piezos. Sure it sounds good for its price, but it's neck feels way too thick after SUB1 :(
I hope Jon and his friends at the repairs dept take good care of my precious and fix the fret buzz....

I have no friends in the repair dept. :( I am the repair dept. If your guitar is the one from M.F. it's at the shop, and so far all it looks like it needs is a good setup. The bridge is like a 1/4 inch higher on the bass side than it should be, but I was really busy today, and did not have a chance to check it out in detail, but I will most likely get to it tomorrow.

Don't worry it will play great when you get it back.

I'm not sure what you refer to as M.F. My black SUB1 did however had a strange bridge setup like you described. That's something guitar tech I took it too did. I was surprised myself when I saw it, but I thought he would know better then me, especially because this is my first guitar with a tremolo. I guess I need to be looking for a better tech...

P.S. Sorry I didn't know you were the only one there...

M.F.= Musicians Friend. From the looks of the bridge, I would get a new "tech" as this guy obviously knows nothing about setting up a guitar.

But don't worry....It will play great. You can ask some of our forum friends...I will make it right
