What changes would you make to the Ray34?

Only 1 thing for me - 2 Band EQ
Wouldn't mind a lacquer neck although that would probably raise the price and am not so sure the majority of players would be as interested

Would any of you NOT but one if it were a 2-band?
Anybody buy one ONLY if it came with a 2-band?

I think it fill a very basic and important niche as it is. There is such a thing as creating too much competition against yourself

If I had the $ the I would get it just as it is to get a basic SR type vibe at a great price for a beater bass or as a recommended starter for new players.

Love the Sub tone and playability but can't get past the textured finish and painted neck.
Agreed Ant, and perhaps the 3-band is a selling point in that it's 1 better than a 2-band for the masses.

Have the SUB body resprayed, I'm toying with the idea myself.
