What color is the rarest on the Axis?

If you were to order a new Axis today, what would be the color that would have the most value to it? And would the Axis model type make a difference in the color choice?
I am between a rock and a hard place on which finish color to order on my next Axis Super Sport HH. I want something that will stand out, but be a limited finish color. Any suggestions?

Well, if I were ordering an Axis Super Sport today, I'd probably decide to get one in Carbon Blue Pearl with a matching headstock, because I've got four in various Trans finishes now, and it's time for a change... but since an Axis proper would look even cooler in that color - and since I'd like another Floyd in the arsenal - I'd probably get one of those in Carbon Blue Pearl, which would be awesome

As to which color will "have the most value to it", I think that it would be easier to sell an Axis in a fairly common burst or natural finish than in some of the more esoteric colors, but I doubt you'll get much extra $$$ out of any color on a used Axis sale... Axes are beautiful, playable, toneful guitars, but they aren't collectable yet...

I think I'm with Jimi on this one...buying a rare color sort of means you're buying an unpopular one.

People seem to like to ones in the solid tranparent colors.

Personally I'd go for a black cherry burst...it's my favorite finish...

Well yeah! After you have every translucent available....

I prefer the translucent colors, just to show off the figured maple. I like the bursts and the amber the best. Although I do really like the teal.

Now, if I were to get a Silhouette Special or a Luke, the carbon blue pearl would be high on my list.

Oh well, I'm hoping my gas will diminish once I receive my SS. It's supposed to only be a couple more weeks now.

my fav looking axis is the black sparkle. 2nd to that i like the Opaque Green/olive color. ever see that? very hard to find.
