What colour is this Silo ?

A friend of mine has just bought this

Ernie Ball Musicman Silhouette Special electric guitar on eBay (end time 13-Apr-11 20:06:43 BST)

Anyone have any idea what colour it is ? , was it a limited run ? Looks like it has a nice flame on the neck

Run the serial number in the sticky and ask DOB and color -G14255- looks like a color I think was called gunsmoke?? NIce grab and quite old

it's Egyptian Smoke.
that colour was discontinued a couple years ago or so.

Thanks Guys, I did wonder about the Egyptian Smoke but thought it was a bit 'brownier' than this. This looks more like a 'pewter'. Perhaps it's just the lighting. I have asked him to come on to the forum Keith, so I thought I'd let him check out the DOB.

In the early/mid 2000's there was a silver offered, it looks like it could be that, It was just after the sparkle finishes were discontinued (~2003'ish/2004'ish).

I'd say it's Gunsmoke. Thought that EB stopped with figured necks on Silo's end 1990's.
