Howdy all. I've wanted a EBMM Axis for years and Finaly I found one for sale localy at a good price ($500). Serial No is G05391 and it was sold as an Axis Sport. But the headstock just says Axis. Is there a way to tell? I'm more curious than anything.

Thanks,

Matt

Since it's not real without a Picture see attached. :)

Welcome

Maple cap + floyd + single volume pot + three way toggle = Axis
(and a nice one at that :))

The original Axis Sports were solid pieces of ash in different configurations, the current Super Sports are maple capped but also configured differently)

Congratz, cool guitar and nice nice price heheh

Last Axis (used) i saw here in my city was pricing about Us$ 2500.

For USA import guitars, price is : ( guitar price in dollar + shiping in dollar (Us$ 200 +/-) ) + add 60% taxes + profit´s local store, sad but true !

You wanted one for years, and didn't know what it was when you finally got it? Are you pulling our legs??? Hmmm... :p If not, that was a steal.
