Bongos do not come in blue dawn for a reason: they're made out of basswood. Not much grain to look at. I would get a Bongo in Stealth.

Basswood would make a Perfect blue Dawn because Blue Dawn is a Sparkle not a see thru finish

What he said.

I think they will both look stunning. I'm partial to the Bongo on so many different levels that I naturally choose Bongo--If for no other reason than to cancel Arin's vote. :D

Blue Dawn is an amazing finish, even if it does have a limited appeal to the masses. You can't go wrong as long as the bass you want to look at also sounds and plays amazing, too. So, get the one you enjoy playing most.

How about a clear acrylic Bongo and I get a blue dawn tattoo?

Man if they do please don't pose for any photo's like the one in the boots, it could get really ugly.

So, you've seen that picture?

It was one of the first pictures I saw when I joined the boards. Its a miracle I can still see at all. I can make out very vague shapes but no fine details. In fact, I had to wear blue blockers for the first week afterwards until the visual force trauma to my eyes began to reverse itself.
