I ask as because I've been looking at a lot of vintage guitar adverts/websites as a result of Bungo's thought provoking relic'ing thread ?

Vintage & Rare (UK shop) use this abbreviation a lot.

So anyone got the answer ?

Wow.. tight timing, Shamus! Can we get a nanosecond display on there? :D
Ha, reminds me of the saying a bassplaying colleague once said during a break as we both finished peeing and "zipped up" at the same time and turned for the handwash basin -
"A forklift finish" he'd say

I don't know what he meant  ;)

where did ya get your pinkburst from Bob ?

I got it (used, not relic'ed:rolleyes: ) at Macaris on Tottenham Court road early this year.

It's a lovely thing but I think the frets need a bit of a going over,
and while they're at it I think I might get a new nut put on as the high E string seems a bit close to the edge of the neck.

I also think Fred that there are more people getting an AL

Spud,
I think you're right. There does seem to be a lot of interest lately in the AL's. I play mine daily especially since getting the refret on it. Absolutely plays like a dream.

Wait until I get the new pickguard and pickup covers on it... :D

I bought mine on a whim, and damn I'm glad I did! What a fantastic guitar. (Hardly play my Luke anymore as a result.)
