hi there i just got a OLP MM1 guitar this thing rocks and sounds nice, it came with gauge 9 strings, i use to use gauge 10 on all my other guitars, my question is i like how 9s sound on it they are ernie balls but dont know what kind they are on there regular super slinky etc,

anyone recomend a set a ernie ball strings i should use... on this guitar that will be best for the kneck and fret board....

thanks

id go with ernie ball slinky 10s the green box or Everly rocker 10s or Daddario XL 10s i like them all i just get whatever is cheaper at the time but i would reccomend a 10 gauge string for its fuller sound and its better in the long run when you become a more advanced player

gittin' personal.......

i like 10's m'self. mostly for comfort. i usta use 9's when i had a floyd on.......cuz it balanced the trem best. i know plenty of SRV nuts who swear by 11's, 12's, and 13's............i think the players comfort is the better determining factor.

here's a thing you can try.........instead of moving up a STRING gauge........try moving DOWN a PICK gauge.......................worked for me!

i heard a rumor that billy gibbons has gone to 8's and turns the AMP up louder..............................mind you.............it's just a rumor.......:D
